This is a simple project I designed.
It is a digital thermometer using only:
a DS1620 temperature sensor computer chip,
a PIC16F84 microprocessor and
a dual 7-segment display.
The DS1620 measures the temperature in °C,
sends that data serially to the PIC16F84 continuously.
The PIC16F84 receives the data, converts °C to °F,
then drives the dual 7-segment displays directly.
